You've got the poison, I've got the remedy

A question to my answers.
Nostalgic senses filling me up as i walked along the path. What used to be a forest, brought down by commercialization. The place that i use to love even till now. Yet the obvious is missing, the only being that makes me felt so attached in the first place. Yet a presence is still around, as if she was still around, not seen, not heard, but felt, and remembered. And a short ceremony was all it took to make me remember my days over there.
Grandma's 1 year anniversary was short, yet meaningful, giving relatives with busy schedules to get together and reminisce the past over the night which was what my mum did.
I really am interested in these religeous rites, i don't know why. Something about it intrigues me.
You've got the poison,
I've got the remedy.
