After 9
I have learned more then i could in these nine weeks. Still we see imperfections in my leaders, nothing i can't accept personally with the thought, "no one is perfect, and that may be the flaw in the perfectionism". We do try to do our best, all of us.
Starting to finally see some bonding between the platoon but it started too late, but nevertheless, better late then never. And once again many thanks to sgt alex for the boost of confidence he gave during dinner time. Expecting a preaching wasnt what he gave. Bmt really isn't a real reflection of what all ns is about. No wonder they say they rather keep on learning then move on with the next phase. Because thats where all the fun concise.
2 months really is a short time. With all that early bookins, the late night preparations, time passes fast enough.
Moving on, i am glad you have straightened out your thoughts, and for a better future lets all see you mature and buildup the confidence and elagance of a lady and not that of a pre teenager with angsty emotions and confused feelings. For the best.
Recently chanced upon an article, it really does set one thinking.

7th week. I feel nought. A little dissapointment and a little self reproach for not pushing myself. It was memorable. And i will remember the laughter the indian talking chopsticks gave me. Section 4 wouldn't be so much fun without this people. Thank you. And lord for my buddy. One can never wish for a selfless and caring buddy.
Everythings going smoothly cept for a few glitches. Not that i can live without. I did my part providing my entertainment to my friends. Of course these stunts costed me some physical training. But still, for fun joy laughter, give me some credit for bringing these to them on a rainy and sad day outfield.
God bless.

Lessons learnt from this epic of my life has proven my lack of peserverence once again. But we all fall and pick ourselves up. I should be able to get the hints from what sir was trying to say to me. Its clear, and its time to really wake up and focus. Because i see myself in the mirror still not seeing a definition.
I see selfishness in those around me yet i am no different. Perhaps a slight edge over them when i am having the rush in to me to do something. Its not enough. I need to achieve more then now.

Im looking at some role models who made and impact in my life, and when they are talking, i try to apprehend the meaning of how they talk, how they get their message across, and most importantly how they got here. I am thankful to be in such a caring platoon with good commanders and officers. Yet there will always be the minority that tends to spoil the image of these few great people. Nevertheless, i can see where i am heading and its going to be an enriching journey to be a responsible me.
Along the way i will store and file the different acts that made me remember these people in one way or another.
1) PS fixed my rifle so i could shoot smoothly and not need to come back for a reshoot.
2) PC saw me doing some stupid stunts all week long and kept quiet and tolerated my foolish acts.
3) Sect com tried his best to make us undertand the rationale of why we do things.

Moving on to another life
Im moving on to another phase of life, a phase where some dread it, some don't really bother and some just lose their nuts in there. National service. It seemed like just yesterday i was on the mrt looking at recruits booking out from camp going home and feeling nought. And now, im going in tommorow. A little of every emotion im feeling now, but more excitement then displeasure. Thank you all for the blessings and the well wishes for me to be safe. A little bit here and there, not many but still enough for me to feel warm. I wasn't much of a caregiver either.
Oh and i love my ipod. Its a beauty. So take care and best of wishes to those who have an obstacle, an exam, a waves 14 to conquer. It may be in different forms, but everyone has that mountain to climb, and im climbing my own. :)

And yes, i am back at it again. A spontaneous post after watching 'The Proposal'. I dig the plot and the infinite sacarsm that goes on between the two of them. Having an expected twist didn't spoil the show much. Something to note would be their little actions, so called the betraying details that shows either uncertainty, awkwardness and whole lot more. This movie is above average i conclude and had me laughing at their expressions.
Last night was zen, peaceful, sacred and calmness. I felt at ease, i didn't felt the need to hide, to put an act, i was me. You are indeed a friend now. Some mutual trust between us, a common thread of understanding holds between. Lovely as you are, i will need some coaxing to get my emotions out now. All i feel is the ambience, the company and booze. The temple at loyang is a pretty one, a very nice place for me to probe no doubt because of my inquisitive mind at work, but rest assured i still follow strictly to traditions and do respect the higher being that i am praying to. I love the way how legends, how myths, how god came along. Far too much to look into, far too much for me to be able to understand in a lifetime. That is probably how they hold their aire of mystery through centuries.

word of thanks
A word of courtesy between friends is ok. an anomaly between brothers, yet a must between strangers. Where this line stands depends on the principles, the culture of every single one of us. Thus i remind myself with a simple 'everyone is different', whenever i am dissapointed by either a lack of gratitude or a missing acknowledgement be it my friends or family. Yet with all due respect i can never apprehend my frustrations for your missing response. A vague tinge tells me its my emotions at play. Being human i do eat the occasional sour grape when i chance upon certain pictures or comments. I have lost the strong sense of emotional insecurity and desire for now. I was a boy filled with my own fantasies and fairytales of a perfect relationship. Yes, we all have our own yearn for a fairytale. I lost this yearning since the very moment fireworks marked the very end of last year. Cliche but true. I am not afraid to admit i was still groping and searching for a right way to make that romantic moment with my limited knowledge be it the movies or dinner. These experiences are unfortunately lodged quite deep due to embarrassment thus the need to file it under a list of must not's.
I once laughed when friends told me about the i am still not mature enough theory, yet now i eat my smugness as i slowly grasp the underlying essence of this sentence. And yes you guessed right, i truly am immature, from quite an amount of crucial aspects. And i will probably organize a set of examples in my past for understanding purposes. It may take some time, but not to fret, it will be up.

I've got the remedy.
